Represent the collective voice

Lancashire Parent Carer Forum is an independent, parent carer-led organisation representing the collective voice of families of children and young people with SEND (0–25) across Lancashire.

We listen to families’ experiences and work with education, health, social care and voluntary sector partners to help shape and improve SEND services. We also connect families and signpost to relevant information and support.

We aim to:

Bring together the collective voice of parent carers across Lancashire.
Listen to families and identify shared experiences, priorities and concerns.
Work in partnership with those responsible for SEND services.
Use lived experience to help improve services and promote good practice.
Champion inclusion, equality and accessibility for children and young people with SEND.
Make sure as many parent carer voices as possible are heard and represented.

Whether you're just starting your SEND journey, waiting for an assessment, navigating an EHCP, or simply looking to connect with other parent carers, we're here for you.

While our role isn't to provide individual advice or direct support, we can help you find the right services and resources, and provide safe, welcoming spaces to share your concerns and experiences.

Our initiatives include Let's Talk webinars on topics that matter to families, with practitioners who deliver the services and face-to-face drop-ins at Family Hubs, where you can connect with people who understand what you're going through. We also attend events such as the SEND Roadshows.
