Neurodevelopmental Diagnostic (ND) Pathway
The Neurodevelopmental Diagnostic (ND) Pathway is a systematic approach designed to evaluate and assist children and young individuals who might have neurodevelopmental conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). This process includes a team of professionals from various disciplines who assess a child's development performance in different environments to decide if a diagnosis is warranted and to offer the required support. Currently the ND Pathway in Lancashire is under review and more information can be found at the Integrated Care Board Website.
Lucy Ellis is the pathway navigator for Lancaster & Morecambe. She will be updating us on the Children's Learning Disabilities and Autism Assessment Pathway. This will be in collaboration with Peter Chapman, Associate director for SEND and complexities who works at the integrated care board (ICB). Watch this space for an update in the near future.
